Provider & API disclosures

Fedilo can use connector-managed or specifically admin-approved feed sources, official provider APIs, embeds, user-authorized provider connections and provider-hosted URLs depending on the source. Users cannot turn an arbitrary website, RSS/Atom URL or private feed URL into an ingestible source. Feed admission remains subject to exact-URL/connector policy, network safety, and universal adult/sensitive content-safety review at both source and item level. Capabilities differ by provider; a provider listed in the product does not imply that every surface supports feed ingestion, fan import, owner connection or authenticated content.
Provider-hosted content remains subject to the provider's own availability, terms and privacy practices. Fedilo should not represent an unavailable or unapproved provider capability as live. Provider authorization can be revoked from the account controls when a connection exists.
Fedilo avoids unnecessary media mirroring and uses provider/original URLs, embeds, thumbnails and metadata where permitted. It does not promise scraping as a substitute for an unavailable official capability.
