Content & illegal-content notices

1. Scope
This page applies if and to the extent that Fedilo stores information supplied by users and makes it publicly available, for example public shared-list titles, descriptions or similar user-provided public information. Final DSA classification must be confirmed against the production feature set.
2. Reporting allegedly illegal content
Anyone may report a specific item of allegedly illegal user-provided content through the in-product Report flow. The notice flow should request the exact URL/location, an explanation of why the content is alleged to be illegal, contact details where legally appropriate, and a good-faith accuracy statement.
3. Receipt and decision
Where the Digital Services Act applies, Fedilo sends an electronic receipt confirmation when contact details are available and processes sufficiently precise notices in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary way. The notifier is informed of the decision and available redress where required.
4. Restrictions and reasons
Fedilo may remove or restrict specific user-provided public information when it is illegal or violates the Terms. Where legally required, the affected user receives a clear statement of the facts, contractual or legal ground, any relevant use of automation, and available complaint or judicial redress.
5. No hidden recommendation moderation
Content moderation of public user-provided information is separate from the personal Feed. Fedilo does not insert recommended content into the Feed and does not use moderation decisions to invent replacement content.
6. Point of contact
Illegal-content notices: [ILLEGAL_CONTENT_EMAIL]. Authorities / DSA contact: [DSA_AUTHORITY_CONTACT_EMAIL]. These addresses must be monitored and completed before any public-sharing feature that makes Fedilo a hosting/intermediary service goes live.
7. Transparency and size-based exemptions
Some DSA reporting or online-platform obligations may depend on Fedilo's legal classification and enterprise size. Any applicable micro/small-enterprise exemptions must be documented rather than assumed. Core hosting-service notice obligations can apply regardless of size.
